The Chairperson of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice - Nino Gvenetadze is attending the international conference on gender equality issues

The Chairperson of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice - Nino Gvenetadze is attending, in Tbilisi hotel "Radisson Blu Iveria”, the high-level international conference on “Gender Equality - Challenges and Opportunities in the region of the European Neighborhood Policy".

The event is dedicated to discuss the three basic issues: Womens political and economical empowerment, elimination of violence against women and girls and increasing the role of the women in peace and security issues. In the framework of the Conference it is planned to adopt “Tbilisi Declaration”, the goal of which will be reinforcing the commitments undertaken by Georgia at International and local levels on the womens rights and gender equality issues.
