The “Georgian-German Criminal Electronic Magazine

On October 8, 2015 in the Supreme Court "Georgian-German Criminal electronic magazine" presentation was held, which was attended by the criminal justice professors of the leading German universities.
The Chairperson of the Supreme Court welcomed the participants of the meeting. Nino Gvenetadze underlined the importance of "the Georgian-German Criminal electronic Magazine” and expressed the hope that as a result of the German-Georgian active cooperation the significant steps will be taken in the direction of the development of the criminal justice system.
"Georgian-German Criminal electronic journal" is financially supported by the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) and the legal faculty of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The first edition of the electronic magazine will be mainly devoted to the articles of German and Georgian criminal law professors, practicing lawyers and judges, presented on the second working meeting.
On October 8, at the meeting, held in the Supreme Court building, the second Georgian-German conference on criminal law was opened, which will be continued on 9-10 October at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The Supreme Court expressed the readiness to be actively involved "in the Georgian-German Criminal bilingual electronic magazine’s" publication-related matters.
