The XIV (Extraordinary) Conference of Judges was held

On July 11, 2015 in the "House of Justice" judges XIV (Extraordinary) conference was held. Under the Agenda two issues were envisaged: Election of one member judge of Highs Council of Justice and three members of the Disciplinary Collegium of the High Council of Justice.

The chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia Nino Gvenetadze welcomed to the participants of the Conference. The conference was attended by 264 judges.

As a result of the procedures of secret voting that was defined under the law, Levan tevzadze was elected as the member of the High Council of Justice and three members of  Disciplinary collegiums were also chosen: Giorgi Tkavadze, Shorene Kavelashvili and Shalva Kakauridze. The Conference was observed by the representatives of international and local non-governmental organizations.
