German judges took part in the scientific-consultancy board meeting of the Supreme Court of Georgia

On July 4, 2015 in the Supreme Court the scientific-consultancy board meeting was held. In the meeting together with Georgian lawyers delegation of Hamburg court was participated.

On the scientific-consultancy board meeting invited lawyers discussed the concrete case study dealing with court practice and presented their views and assessments regarding the legal side of the case.

The scientific-consultancy board meeting was headed by the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Nino Gvenetadze underscored the importance of the participation of the German Colleagues to the board’s working meeting and expressed the hope that the activities of the scientific consultancy board will be also active and affective in the direction of administrative law.

The delegation of the Hamburg court: President of Hamburg Supreme Administrative Court Friedrich - Joachim Mehmel; President of Hamburg Social Court Wolfgang Siewert; Judge Peter Winter and the Professor of Hamburg University Dr. Roland Broemel, are visiting Georgia July 1-5, 2015. On July 2 in the Supreme Court the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed.

The partnership relationship between the courts was supported and organized by the German Society of International Cooperation (GIZ).
