The chairperson of the Supreme Court has met with Adviser of the Legal Program of US Department of Justice

On April 6, 2015 the Chairperson of the Supreme Court met with Steven Neff, Adviser of the Legal Program of U.S. Department of Justice.
Adviser of US Department of Justice has congratulated to Nino Gvenetadze on her election as the Chairperson of the Supreme Court and introduced the current directions of the legal program.
The Chairperson of the Supreme Court noted the role of the projects in reforming the justice system in Georgia, conducted with the support of American people.
Adviser of U.S Department of Justice discussed the legal aid program, which contains issues on reforming the Criminal law, on working with prosecutors, on conducted trainings on cyber crime, he also emphasized the jury trial institute, selection criteria and the importance of the trial.
The Chairperson of the Supreme Court once again expressed the readiness to discuss all important issues with the judiciary, international donor organizations, non-governmental organizations and the media.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Zaza Meishvili.
