Nino Gvenetadze was elected as the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia

On March 20, 2015 the Georgian Parliament by 88 votes unanimously elected Nino Gvenetadze as the chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia.

The Parliament of Georgia elected chairperson of the Supreme Court by the introduction of the president for 10 years period. In Georgian history, this is the first time, when a woman is elected as the chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Nino Gvenetadze is the 21st chairperson of the Supreme Court.
