The Visit of the Delegation from Latvia

On October 16, 2014, the Supreme Court of Georgia welcomed the delegation from the Ministry of Justice of Latvia. The delegation members were: Secretary of State - Mr. Raivis Kronbergs; Director of Court Administration - Mr. Edvins Balsevics; Adviser to the Minister of Justice - Mr. Ivo Zutis and the Head of Ministers Bureau - Ms. Annija Freimane.

Introductory meeting was held with the Chairman of the Supreme Court, the First Deputy Chairman and the members of the Judges Association. The parties discussed the issues about ongoing reforms in the judiciry, the current developments and future plans, as well as the recent achievements Georgian Judiciary, social security and working conditions of judges.

At the end of the meeting the memoprable gifts were given to the guests.
