Working Meeting for Judges Was Held by Human Rights Centre of the Supreme Court of Georgia

On June 26-27, 2014, working meeting for judges from Adjara AR and Guria courts was held by Human Rights Centre of the Supreme Court of Georgia. The main topic was how to improve the validity and reasoning of the courts decisions.

The meeting was opened by the Manager of the  Supreme Court Mr. Irakli Khutsurauli, who underlined importance of Human Rights Center of the Supreme Court and noted that the center is actively working on the implementation of case law of the European Court in the judicial system of Georgia.

During the meeting participants discussed the following issues: improving the validity and reasoning of court decisions, implementation of international protocols and conventions, as well as important decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in national court practice.
