The President of Georgia Attended the Conference of the Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of Central and Eastern Europe

On June 23, 2014, The President of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili attended the Conference of the Chairmen of the Supreme Courts from Central and Eastern Europe and welcomed the Conference participants.
“This conference is significant in terms of court system stability. We welcome the conference participants. A politically free and qualified court system, which represents one of the main government branches, is of utmost importance for us. This is also significant in terms of the Association Agreement context and that Georgia builds and strengthens European, democratic changes,” – said Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili.
The Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of 13 countries from Central and Eastern Europe participate in the meeting.
