Solemn Oath Ceremony at the Supreme Court of Georgia

On May 29, 2014, at the Supreme Court of Georgia the seven newly appointed judges took the solemn oath before the members of the High Council of Justice. The High Council of Justice elected the judge candidates by secret ballot. According to the decision of the HCOJ in different regions of Georgia the following judges are appointed: Lasha Tavartkiladze, Manana Meskhishvili, Tea Leonidze, Nino Buachidze, Shota Bichia, Manuchar Tsatsua, Sophio Gagnidze, Levan Darbaidze, Nana Kalandadze, Teimuraz Katamadze.

The above judges are appointed on three-year probationary period. They will exercise their authority after the oath rite.
