The Visit of the Diplomatic Corps Representatives at the Supreme Court of Georgia

On July 10, 2013, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Mr. Konstantin Kublashvili, the Secretary of the High Council of Justice Mr. Levan Murusidze and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the High School of Justice Mr. Mamuka Akhvlediani met with the representatives of the Diplomatic Corps.
The aim of the meeting was to present the main priorities of the future activities of the Judiciary and the working directions of the High Council of Justice.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court noted that, at this stage, the ongoing judicial reform covers the three priority directions. They are: to strengthen the independence of the Judiciary; improving the quality of court decisions; and improvement of judicial administration-management system.
After the presentation of the working directions of the High Council of Justice, the Chairman of the Supreme Court answered the questions of the invited guests.
The ambassadors of the different countries and the representatives of the various international organizations attended the meeting.
