THE MEETING OF THE GROUP OF COOPERATION WITH THE COURT

On March 14, 2013, the meeting of the Group of cooperation with the Court was held at the Hotel “Tbilisi Marriot”. The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Mr. Konstantin Kublashvili opened the meeting.

This is the third meeting of the Group. The participants of the meeting discussed the issues concerning the civil law. The theme of the meeting was – “the main trends concerning the recognition and enforcement of the arbitration court judgments according to the courts practice and Georgian legislation”.

The meeting was attended by the scientists, representatives of local and international NGOs, representatives of state agencies, the judiciary and the Bar Association members.

The aim of the Group activity is the direct engagement of public communities in the process of reform of the judicial system.
The main activity of the Group will be focused on the discussions about the issues of uniform court practice. 

The next meeting will be held on 18th of March and the theme of the discussion will be the tax disputes.
