MEETING WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES OF GERMAN SECTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION OF JURISTS WAS HELD AT THE SUPREME COURT

German Judges, prosecutors, lawyers and other representatives of the area of law headed by the judge of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany, chair of the German Section of the International Commission of Jurists, Michael Eichberger visited the Supreme Court of Georgia.

The members of the delegation were met by the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia and HCoJ , Nino Gvenetadze ,who introduced guests  to the structure of the Supreme Court of Georgia, implemented institutional reforms, strategy and priorities of long-term development. The Chairperson pointed out that, with the participation of German scientists and well-known experts, was conducted the establishment of legal basis and legislation for the new Georgian, democratic state in the 90s of the last century. And this ongoing cooperation continues to be productive within the framework of international donor organizations and develops efficiently.

At the end of the meeting, parties discussed the importance of the extension of cooperation and expressed their readiness in this regard.
