STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING OF EU4JUSTICE PROGRAM

The steering committee meeting of EU4Justice Program was held at the Supreme Court of Georgia, opened by the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia and HCoJ Nino Gvenetadze .
The participants of the meeting were also addressed by the President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Zaza Tavadze, an Attaché of EU Delegation to Georgia, EU4Justice Program Manager, Mr. Peter Danis and Manager of Hulla and Co. Human Dynamics KG Mr. Oliver Mader.
The Chairperson of the Supreme Court thanked EU-Georgia EU4 Justice project and highlighted the importance of their active engagement of international donors in the implementation of the judiciary support project, as well as their coordinated work and mutual understanding, giving only positive results to the Donors’ efforts.
The President of the Constitutional Court greeted the participants of the meeting and spoke about the implemented as well as planned activities in the framework of the EU support project.
EU4Justice Program Team Leader, Justice Renate Winter emphasized in her speech about the productive cooperation with the Supreme Court of Georgia, High Council of Justice of Georgia and the Constitutional Court of Georgia, noting that the European Union will further actively cooperate with the above-mentioned state institutions for successful continuation of the Judiciary Reform and increasing public trust towards the Judiciary System in Georgia.
