Swearing-in Ceremony at the Supreme Court

On March 6, 2012, the swearing-in ceremony of judges was held at the Supreme Court. Nino Nachkebia, Ketevan Mamatsashvili, Genadi Makaridze and Ekaterine Jinchvelashvili, the graduates of the High School of Justice were appointed on the position of a judge at the first instance courts, in particularly, at the City Courts of Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi.

From the beginning of 2012 the color of the judge’s gown has changed and the judges of all three instances wear the black colored gowns. Before those changes the judges of first instance courts wore light-red gowns, judges of the appellate courts – green and the judges of the Supreme Court – black gowns.
