Workshop on the mediation

On March 2-3, 2012, hotel “Ambasador”, the training regarding the “Court Mediation” was held for the representatives of media. The training was opened by Konstantin Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court.
The mediation institute will be put in practice at courts in a close future. Mediation is an effective means to solve disputes, which is widely undertaken by the courts of foreign countries. Mediators suggest useful and alternative ways to the parties.
The experts introduced the journalists with the information regarding the development of the mediation and its main point, talked on the importance of the mediation role in the modern legal system. With the participation of the journalists the moot session and discussion of the case were held.
