Supreme Court welcomed 100 visitors

The supreme court and the "Museum of Justice”  welcomed 100 visitors today  within the framework of the annual event dedicated to May 18, "Night at the Museum" coordinated by  the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Georgia.

Among the visitors were the students of the Georgian National University (SEU) Faculty of Law and the faculty leadership, the Indian Students delegation of the Georgian Medical University, whose visit was conducted by the head of  NGO "Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future"  Darpan Prashe, heads and representatives of charity funds and movements , Mr.Davit Kintsurashvili, Ms.Zaira Charkviani .

Regarding the jubilee of  the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Georgia, while talking  about the history of the museum,  the  guides were especially focused on the period of  1918-1921, when the Supreme court were chaired by Mr.David Kheltuphlishvili.

The visitors viewed the halls of historic building of the Supreme Court, including the historic 6th Hall, where session of courts of the Chamber of Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court is held, chaired by the chairperson of the Supreme Court and the chairperson of the High Council of Justice Nino Gvenetadze.

The judge of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Georgia Ekaterine Gasitashvili, discussed   the reforms and achievements in the Georgian judiciary system. At the end of the meeting the guests were granted with memorable gifts.
