Final briefing of 2011

On December 27, 2011, Konstantin Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, conducted the final briefing for journalists. Konstantin Kublashvili talked with the media representatives on most important achievements of the court system in 2011. “2011 can be considered as the year of transparency and publicity, than the first jury trial had been conducted and society was involved in the process of implementation of justice. In 2011 electronic program was put in practice in the court system, what made judiciary more public and transparent. Throughout the year, meetings with active international and non-governmental organizations and media representatives were regularly conducted at the High Council of Justice, aimed to introduce current court reform, independence of justice and institutional and legislative changes”, stated Konstantin Kublashvili on the briefing.
At the end of the meeting the New Year’s reception was held for journalists.
