OCTOBER 25 IS MARKED AS THE EUROPEAN DAY OF JUSTICE

October 25 – by the initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission- is symbolically marked as the European Day of Justice across the European continent. It aims to encourage the close link between the public and the judiciary.
For the purpose of ensuring transparency of public relations, court enables the interested parties to actively get involved in the meetings and other activities relating to the development of the judiciary.
In order to raise awareness on the common court’s system, to develop legal behavior and contribute into the process of professional orientation planning, educational tours are regularly held for the representatives of young generation. Future lawyers have possibility to hold mock trials in the Supreme Court building.
Increasing awareness on the ongoing process in the justice system represents one of the important component in the process of strengthening the public confidence in the judiciary.
