THE PERIODIC PUBLICATIONS OF THE TSU LAW DEPARTMENT ON THE WEB-PAGE OF THE SUPREME COURT

We are happy to inform, that from this very moment, the bilingual scientific periodical publications - “Journal of Law” and   “Alternative Dispute Resolution – Yearbook” – of the Ivane Javakhishvili State University (TSU) are becoming available at the web-page of the Supreme Court.  “Journal of Law” of the Department of Law of the TSU is the first multi-disciplined, annotated scientific journal being published since 2009.  As for the “Alternative Dispute Resolution – Yearbook”, it’s a bilingual specialized scientific journal, being founded since the very day of implementing of the mediation institution in the legal framework of Georgia. Letters of the prominent European and US researchers, works of the famous representatives of the   Georgian Law Society and especially of the Department of Law of the TSU are published in the journal.          

The editorial board consists of the well-known foreign and Georgian scientists working in the field of Law. Periodical Publications are saved in the bases of a number of International Research Centers and Universities. Among them is the Max Planck Institute    for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, Harvard Law School, etc.                

Conducting of the fundamental scientific researches and availability of the achieved results and internationalization of the research are vital and has a paramount importance for the transformation of Law and harmonization of it with the European legislation. 

 Publishing of the above mentioned scientific journals together with the issues of the Supreme Court and their availability will significantly promote development of Law, Practice of Law and integration of the research.
