GEORGIAN AND GERMAN JUDGES DISCUSSED THE CURRENT ISSUES OF THE LABOR LAW

On October 10 of 2016 the Modern Private Law Institute of the Department of Law at the Ivane Javakhishvili State University organized the meeting with the delegation of the German judges.
Dean of the Department, Professor Irakli Burduli, Director of the Institute Professor Besarion Zoidze and Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Court, Chairperson of the Chamber for Civil Cases Mzia Todua welcomed the participants of the meeting and made reports on the current issues of the Private Law.
The German judges were informed about the research projects and publications in the field of the Georgian Labor Law performed by the Department. The Chairperson of the Chamber of Civil Cases at the Supreme Court talked about the recent tendencies of the Court Practice concerning the Labor suits. Her talk was followed by the discussion.
The German judges got interested in the innovations implemented following the Reform of the Labor Law Code of Georgia and Practice of the Supreme Court.
Judges of the Common Courts of Georgia, members of the Modern Private Law Institute, professors and students of the Department attended the meeting.
