The sitting of The Supreme Court’s Plenum

On  September 20 of 2016  the sitting of The Supreme Court’s Plenum was held. The agenda envisaged the appointment of the Constitutional Court’s one member.

According to the Georgian legislation the chairperson of the Supreme Court has introduced on the Constitutional Court’s member’s position her candidacy –Mr. Teimuraz Tugushi  before the Plenum.

The members of the Plenum met with the candidate, received answers on their questions, after which the Plenum appointed Mr. Teimuras Tugushi on the Constitutional Court’s member’s position. The decision was adopted unanimously by the members present at the Plenum sitting.
