THE WORKING MEETING CONCERNING THE ELECTION LITIGATIONS WERE HELD WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF JUDGES AND REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION

On July 29 0f 2016  the chairperson of the Supreme Court and High Council of Justice  - Ms. Nino Gvenetadze and  Head  of  the central election commission  Ms.Tamar Zhvania held a working meeting for the judges.      

The aim of the working meeting was analyses of the issues concerning the election litigations pursuing the goal of forming the homogeneous court practice in regard to the above mentioned litigations.  

Within the frames of the meeting were discussed  the novelties of the election Law - prohibition for  usage of the administrative resources and procedures of bringing in and examining  of a statement/ appeal  in the district, regional  and central  election commissions.  The participants also discussed other problems concerning the topic of election litigations. 

Judges hearing the administrative cases and representatives of the election commission participated in the meeting.
