On April 13 of 2016, the Chairperson of the Supreme Court and High Council of Justice Ms. Nino Gvenetadze delivered a public lecture at the Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University.
The memorandum for cooperation between the Supreme Court and Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching Universitywas signed at the meeting opening.
The lecturer addressed matters related to the international principles of Juvenile Justice in details and the Code of Juvenile Justice Code of Georgia. Within the lecture topic Ms. Nino Gvenetadze considered the existing challenges and progress achieved in the field of the Juvenile Justice and the corrseponding planned arrangements.
Nino Gvenetadze talked with the audience on the topical for Georgia issues of Justice. The Chairperson of the Supreme Court informed the members of the audience about the priorities of the Court system and the changes planned within the third phase of the Judiciary.
Ms. Nino Gvenetadze had a look at the infrastructure of the University, its material-technical base, simulated courtroom equipped with the modern technical means, criminalistics laboratory and a library.
The public lecture was delivered in the active discussion regime and was attended by students, representatives of the academic circles and other interested persons.
