THE WORKING GROUP MEETING WAS HELD ON DETERMINATION OF THE RULES FOR ISSUING A COURT DECISION IN THE COMMON COURTS

On February 24, 2016 in the Supreme Court the meeting of the working group in regard to determination of the rules for issuing a court decision in the common courts was held.
The working group is currently working in the common courts on issuing recommendations regarding upholding the issuing of the rules of court decision and by upholding the security of personal data in the court decisions while issuing of these decisions to third parties, and these recommendations in the future will be presented to the High Council of Justice with the aim of determination of the rules for issuing the court decisions to third parties.
The Working Meeting was leaded by the chairperson of the Supreme Court and the high Council of Justice. Within the meeting the participants were presented with the opportunity by means of utilizing distant means of communication to get acquainted with the qualified opinions of international experts, Mrs. Natasha Peers Musari (Slovenia) and Mr. Graham Suton (Great Britain), regarding this issue and practices of foreign countries.
The representatives of the Supreme Court, Tbilisi Court of Appeals, Tbilisi City Court, High Council of Justice, Personal Data Protection Inspectors Office, the Georgian Young Lawyers Association, Public Defender, the Freedom of Information Institute, International Transparency Georgia, the Georgian Journalists Ethics Charter, and international organizations participated in the working group meeting.
