One of the principal trends of the reform, which started in 2005, was the institutional reorganization of the court system, resulting in the well-ordered and well-functioning system and possibility to observe the principle of instance succession.

As of today, within the court reforms 24 district (city) courts of the first instance have been established with 41 magistrate judges.

The High Council of Justice is a significant link of the court system, which represents an independent organ of court system management for today.
