On May 12, 2014, the Delegation of the Supreme Court of Turkey visited the Supreme Court of Georgia. The visit was held by the invitation of Georgian side. The Turkish Delegation is headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Turkey Mr. Ali Alkan.
The aim of the visit is to deepen relations between Georgia and Turkey and provide the information on innovative projects related to Georgian Judiciary reforms.
The members of the delegation will be introduced with the main areas of the activities of the Supreme Court of Georgia, as well as, in general, the model of Georgian judicial system and the basic principles of its organization, achievements of Georgian judicial reform.
The memebrs of Turkish delegation will held the official meetings with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Mr. Konstantin Kublashvili, with the Secretary of High Council of Justice Mr. Levan Murusidze, with the Head of High School of Justice Mr. Lasha Maghradze. The members of the delegation will also visit Tbilisi and Mtskheta City Courts.
During the visit at the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Delegation also visited the “Museum of Justice”, where in the honor of the guests the Turkish manuscripts, which are preserved at the National Center of Manuscripts, were exhibited in the Museum Hall.
The delegation of the Supreme Court of Turkey will depart from Tbilisi on May 15, 2014.
