On November 28, representatives of the Association of Law Firms of Georgia held a meeting with judges of the Criminal Chamber and their assistants at the Supreme Court of Georgia. The participants of the meeting had discussions upon issues of evidence from the point of competitiveness and equality of the parties during criminal proceedings. The document is prepared by the Association of Law Firms of Georgia within the project “Enhancing Competitiveness and Equality of Sides in the Criminal Proceedings” that is carried out with the support of USAID project “EWMI`s Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG). The experts working on the development of the project Davit Kvachantiradze and Ketevan Chomakhashvili made a presentation of the document. The project introduced by the Association of Law Firms in Georgia aims at enhancement of the principle of competitiveness and equality of the parties in the process of collecting, introducing and exploring evidence.
