On December 19 of 2016, The chairperson of the Supreme Court and The High Council of Justice Ms. Nino Gvenetadze held the concluding meeting with the representatives of the Int’l organizations and Diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia. The topic of the meeting was the activities performed by the Common Court’s in 2016. Ms. Nino Gvenetadze discussed by presentation with the audience the important activities of the current year, which was performed by The Supreme Court, The High Council of Justice, Common Courts’ Department LEPL and The High School of Justice serving the aim to achieve flawless practical implementation of the four following directions of the reform: Judicial independence and impartiality; Judicial accountability and transparency; Effective and efficient Justice; Access to Justice and the confidence.
The chairperson of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice, Ms. Nino Gvenetadze highlighted future activities planned to improve the quality of the Judiciary.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Parliament Mr. Irakli Kobakhidze, the member of the Parliament Ms. Eka Beselia and The Pariamentary Secretary of the President Ms. Ana Dolidze.
The chairperson of the Supreme Court and The High Council of Justice Ms. Nino Gvenetadze in the nearest future will hold the similar meeting with the representatives of NGO and Media.
