ON JULY 10 OF 2016 THE UNSCHEDULED XVIII CONFERENCE OF JUDGES OF GEORGIA WAS HELD

On July 9 of 2016 the unscheduled XVIII Conference of judges was held. 191 judges participated in the work of the Conference.     

The Chairperson of the Supreme Court and High Council of Justice Ms. Nino Gvenetadze addressed the participants of the Conference. 

Judges attending the Conference elected by a large majority by  the show of hands as  a chairman of  the Independent  Council of the  High School of Justice a chairman of  Tbilisi Appeal Court  Mr. Valeri Tsertsvadze. Levan Tevzadze, Amiran Dzabunidze, Irakli Kopaliani and Nikoloz Margvelashvili were elected members of the Administrative Committee of Judges of the Conference by closed votes; Levan Tevzadze was elected Chairman of the Administrative Committee by closed votes.

Representatives of the Non - Governmental Organizations observed the working process of the Conference.
