Chairperson of the Supreme Court is attending the conference entitled:

On November 5, 2015 the Chairperson of the Supreme Court attends the joint conference of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the Max-Planck Institute for Foreign and International Private Law Institute, on the topic: "The property and legal stability: transformation of concept of ownership ".  

The conference participants were greeted by Nino Gvenetadze, who noting that: "The high academic status, professional experience and reputation of speakers of the conference certainly raises special importance of the two-day event, which reviews the evolution of property rights and related legal and economic aspects of Georgian and European experience. In today’s conference almost entire composition of the chamber of Civil Cases of the Supreme Court of Georgia are participating and it carries paramount importance for us to observe the issues of judicial practice and judicial law-setting. "

Nino Gvenetadze stated that the Conference is assisted by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) that is one of the active supporters of ongoing process of judiciary reform of Georgia, which is confirmed by the fact that on November 10 in the Supreme Court of Georgia another working meeting is scheduled between the German and Georgian judges regarding the actual issues of civil cases.

We would like to inform you herein that the mentioned two-day event is carried out  in Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University by the assistance of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
