Konstantine Kublashvili has ended his term of being the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia

On February 20, 2015 in connection with the ending term office of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, the official reception was held at the Palace of Justice.

Reception, organized by the  Association of Jugdes, was attended by the jugdes, as well as by the members of High Council of Justice, the representatives of Diplomatic Corps and non-governmental organizations.

As Konstantine Kublashvili noted: ,,the past ten years were very difficult for Judicial Authority.  We had to overcome huge problems and we had to be carried out large-scale reform, much of which has been successfully implemented. However, the main challenge of the Judicial Authority still remains the full independence of the judiciary.  I hope that these gaps will be eradicated soon”.

 The first Deputy of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Zaza Meishvili, noted, that the event, which was held on behalf of the Association of Judges, would be desirable to become traditional.

At the end of the meeting Konstantine Kublashvili has cut the cake designed by the symbols of ten years working period. The first Deputy of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Zaza Meishvili, on behalf of the court, gave the Symbolical Gift to Konstantine Kublashvili.
