Chairman of the Supreme Court awarded the Court Managers with certificates

On August 1, 2011, Konstantin Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, awarded with the certificates those court employees, who had gone through court managers’ course.
Within the limits of the project of Judicial Administration and Management Reform (JAMR), the court managers institute was established in Georgia. The court managers working description and professional studying program, which compiles the various discipline of management, were worked out. The given studying program was developed in 2010 and on the same year the first group of managers undertook the course. Fourteen effective court managers, who passed various studying discipline successfully, were awarded with the court managers’ certificates by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
In June-July, 2011, the second group (which compiled 12 participants) of court managers had gone through the court managers’ studying course. The participants of the program were the effective court managers as well as officials of the Supreme Court of Georgia and Tbilisi Court of Appeal. The development of the court managers institute serves the development of the management at the common courts of Georgia. The general function of the court manager is the effective court administration and establishment of high standards for service of citizens.
