Historical Documents Corps’ volume III presentation was held

On January 13th, 2014, the presentation of Georgian Historical Documents Corps’ volume III and exhibition of historical documents at Exhibition Hall of Manuscript National Center I.Abuladze was held.

The book was published with the financial support of the Supreme Court.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Konstantine Kublashvili, greeted the guests and emphasized the particular importance of the publication.

The publication of the first series of “Georgian Historical Documents Corps“  is concluded by the present volume, which along with the I and II volumes, represents historical documents since the period of Georgian unanimity. This includes donation and charity diplomas, oath books, church charters, court acts and so on. The second part of the XV century is incorporated in the volume III of the “Corps”. Some of the documents included in the volume are known from the other publications, part of documents, however, is published for the first time.

The texts of the represented documents with the scientific bibliography and photocopies of the originals will be very helpful for the researchers of the Georgian history and law, linguists, students of the relevant specialization and in general, persons, who are interested in Georgian history.
