Celebration of 120 years anniversary of the building of Supreme Court of Georgia

The Supreme Court of Georgia continues with its activities regarding the 120years anniversary of the court’s building. On 23 December anniversary reception was held with the attendance of venerable judges, court employees with long work experience and judges of Courts from mountainous regions.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Konstantine Kublashvili greeted the guests and underlined the advantages of mutual cooperation between younger and older generations of court employees. As the Chairman of the Supreme Court stated it is of special importance to appreciate the contribution of those who have performed their duties with honor and dignity for years. Konstantine Kublashvili awarded the guests with memorable gifts.

The building of the Supreme Court of Georgia was constructed in 1894 according to the project of polish architect Aleksander Shimkevich. The building was initially designed for court and the court staff was determined by 39 employees, among them 11 were judges.
