The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia held the meetings in Germany and Brazil

During November 3-8, 2014, the delegation of High Council of Justice of Georgia headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Mr. Konstantine Kublashvili visited the Federal Republic of Germany, the city of Dresden.
The visit was informative by its content and Georgian Judges have received important information about the structure and functioning of German judicial system. In particular, among the issues was the organizing of trainings of judges by the Saxon State Ministry of Justice and European State Ministry for the professional and personal development; also, the assessment and appointment of judges, their promotion and determination the role of chairman in this connection.
Another important visit was held in Brazil, during November 8-14, 2014. The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Mr. Konstantine Kublashvili, the First Deputy Chairman and the Chairman of Judges Association of Georgia Mr. Zaza Meishvili, as well as the Supreme Court Judge and the member of the board of the Association Mr. Paata Katamadze participated in the 57th annual meeting of International Association of Judges held in Brazil.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia held the meetings with the Supreme Court Judges from Austria and Estonia and discussed about creation the search program of uniform court practice established by the Judges of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Estonian and Austrian courts have already implemented a similar practice. Mr. Konstantine Kublashvili shared the Georgian experience in this relation.
