Visit of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic at the Supreme Court of Georgia

On May 27, 2014 the Kyrgyz Court Delegation visited the Supreme Court of Georgia. The Kyrgyz delegation is headed by the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyz Republic Ms. Peruza Jamasheva.
The aim of the visit is to deepen relations between the courts of Georgia and the Kyrgyz Republic and to introduce the information about innovative projects of Georgian judicial system reforms.
The Delegates will learn about the main areas of activities of the Supreme Court of Georgia, as well as, in general, the Georgian judicial system model and the basic principles of the Georgian judicial reform achievements.
The Members of the delegation will hold meetings with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Mr. Konstantin Kublashvili, with the Secretary of the High Council of Justice Mr. Levan Murusidze, and with the Director of the High School of Justice Mr. Lasha Maghradze. The Delegation Members will also visit Tbilisi and Mtskheta city courts.
During the visit at the Supreme Court, the Delegation Members visited the “Museum of Justice”.
The Chairperson of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic said before the media representatives that the information about reforms of Georgian judicial system is very interesting for them. It is also important to share experiences of Georgian colleagues concerning the fight against corruption, said Ms. Peruza Jamasheva.
The Delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic will depart from Tbilisi on May 29, 2014.
