On December 19, 2013, the meeting with the Group of Cooperation with the Judiciary was held at the Hotel “Tbilisi Marriot”, which was attended by the representatives of international and local NGOs, practitioner lawyers, judges and the members of the High Council of Justice.

During the first part of the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Mr. Zaza Meishvili, presented the collection book about establishing the court practice on criminal proceedings. The collection book will promote to establish the common practice on issues of specific criminal proceedings, as well as, it will assist the judges, the lawyers and legal practitioners working in the field of criminal justice and the law students.

In the second part of the meeting, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Mr. Konstantin Kublasvili presented the information on 11 months statistics. Mr. Konstantin Kublasvili introduced to the invited guests the number and the dynamics of the submitted and examined cases during the current year, the percentage of the penalties and other important data.
