Tenth Conference of Judges is planned to be held on June 9, 2013 at 11:00 at the Hotel ‘Radisson Blu Iveria’.

The Conference will be opened and the attendees will be greeted by the Chief Justice, Konstantine Kublashvili.

According to the agenda of the Conference, the judges will elect the Commission composed by 3 judges, responsible for vote counting. Judges will afterwards adopt a draft on ‘’Amending Statute of the Conference of Judges’’.

After adopting the Statute, the Conference will elect head of the independent council of the High School of Justice.

Afterwards, judges will nominate candidates for High Council of Justice membership.

Members of the High Council of Justice will be elected via secret ballot. Second tour will take place, if needed.

According to the agenda, the Conference is also planned to elect members of the Disciplinary and Administrative Committee.

The work of the Conference will be public and transparent. Conference of Judges will be attended by the representatives of international and non-international organisations. The election proceeding will be broadcasted by Georgian and foreign media throughout the day.
