Visit of the School Children to the Local District Court of Zugdidi

School children were visiting the local courts of Gali-Gulripshi and Ochamchire-Tkvarcheli. The meeting was held by the initiative of the court. The school children looked round the court administrative building and the court-rooms.

Judge David Kekenadze delivered a lecture on the following topic: “Children rights pursuant to the Georgian legislation and the role of justice in the given issue”. School children were interested in the means and role of jury trial institute within the implementation of justice. They asked questions on the abolishment of death penalty, medical treatment of drug addicts and not punishment and etc.). The judge responded on their questions. The visit of the school children will last in future as well. The general attention will be kept on the meetings with the school children from the occupied territory schools.

The school children are visiting various district courts. Once in a week within the limits of the project of the Ministry of Education, school children from different regions visit the historical building of the Supreme Court of Georgia and get replies on questions from the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
