The Supreme Court welcomed the Group of cooperation with the Court

On February 28, 2013, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia met with the Group of cooperation with the Court at the Supreme Court.

The meeting was attended by the scientists, representatives of local and international NGOs, representatives of state agencies, the judiciary and the Bar Association members.

The aim of the Group activity is the direct engagement of public communities in the process of reform of the judicial system.

The main activity of the Group will be focused on the discussions about the issues of uniform court practice. After these discussions the quality of court practice will be improved and the quality of well-founded decisions will be increased.

By the Group members initiative a special document was created that will regulate the future activities of the Group. During the meeting the members of the Group discussed this document and determined the themes for the future meeting.
