A new member of the High council of justice has been appointed

The chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Konstantine Kublashvili introduced a new member of the High Council of Georgia.
Following the decision of the administrative committee, Judge Ilona Todua (born in Sokhumi, Georgia in 1977) was appointed as a member of the HCOJ.
In 1999-2003 graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi state university faculty of law. Nowadays is working on thesis of doctor’s degree.
Ilona todua is a Tbilisi City Court Judge since 2007.
HCOJ is coordinating body and promotes the effectiveness of judicial system. 9 of 15 members of HCOJ form Judges. The High Council of Justice is chaired by The Chairman of The Supreme Court of Georgia.
