Meeting on the jury trial issue at the Supreme Court

On March 27, 2012, one more meeting on the establishment of jury trial court in Georgia was held with the representatives of society at the Supreme Court. The meeting was opened by Konstantin Kublashvili, the Chairman of the Supreme Court. The meeting was held by the aegis of American Council for International Education. The project is financed by the American Congress.

The representatives of American Embassy, also the invited audience from those non-governmental and international organizations, who are interested with the establishment of the jury trial court in Georgia, attended the meeting and also, considered already heard case with the participation of jurors. The invited society had chance to acquire the responds from the experts on questions interesting for them.
