Delegation of Turkmenistan visited the Supreme Court of Georgia

A delegation from Turkmenistan visited the Supreme Court of Georgia. The delegation was presented by  Anamered Rejepov and Tuvaknazar Sopiev,  judges of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan, Murat Halmiradov,  a judge from Ashkhabad District Court, Altin Reymova , a senior consultant of Legal Affairs Department,  Sheshmat Akmuradova, a  senior consultant of the international relations department of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan.

The Chief Justice and HCOJ, Ms.Nino Gvenetadze and the judges of the Supreme Court of Georgia greeted the guests and spoke about changes and reforms implemented in the judiciary of Georgia over the past years and about the significance of the Judicial Strategy and Action Plan.

The administration of the Supreme Court of Georgia also greeted the guests. Maka Kvachadze, Head of the Department of International Court Practice Research and Generalization and Sandro Jorbenadze, Head of the Department of National Court Practice Research and Generalization  spoke about functioning and  accomplishments of the departments. Ms. Nato Lomtatidze, Head of Administration, spoke about system of staff training and accessibility of the judiciary for citizens.

At the end of the meeting the guests were shown around the historical building of the Supreme Court and the Museum of Justice.
