A meeting was held at the Supreme Court of Georgia on October 4, 2017 with representatives of the “Synergy Group” and the Project “Support to the Reform of the Criminal Justice System in Georgia”. The parties discussed issues of structural reforms of the Supreme Court. The meeting was hosted by the Chairperson of the Supreme Court, Ms. Nino Gvenetadze. She expressed gratitude to the donor organizations and to the Group undertaking the reforms for their accomplishment and outstanding work performance. The, so called, “circular model” of managers, suggested by this very company (implying horizontal style of management that enables complete involvement of every staff member and use of the resources), at the Supreme Court of Georgia facilitated establishment of a proper and coherent structure, relevant to modern demands. The participants of the meeting were Maia Chochua, Deputy Head of the Project “Support to the Reform of the Criminal Justice System in Georgia”, and representatives of the “Synergy Group”, Maia Marjanidze and Papuna Toliashvili. The new structural model of the Supreme Court of Georgia approved by the Plenum was presented by the Head of Legal Support Department, Nata Lomtatidze and the Head of Coordination and Communication Department, Ana Shalamberidze. They discussed capacities and challenges of the new model.
