Judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court held the working meeting at Kutaisi Court of Appeal

On March 3, 2016 the judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court held the working meeting with the judges of the West Georgia District Court at Kutaisi Court of Appeal. The Chairperson of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court Mrs. Mzia Todua leaded the meeting.
The meeting aimed at discussing and analyzing the problems of court practice identified in the field of private law. Participants in active dialog mode hared the reports on the following issues: using of provisional measures in court practice; preconditions of claim admissibility; Admissibility of confession claims and use of labor norms in judicial practice; Coming out from the urgency of the issue, at the meeting, the ideas on the specifics of the disputes related to the child’s best interest were presented together with the overview of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights, including the recent decisions of the two cases against Georgia.
The sum up discussion of the reviewed topics was underway at the end of the meeting. The judges evaluated the meeting positively and expressed hope that such meetings will be planned on a regular basis.
