The Chairperson of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice Nino Gvenetadze met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia His Excellency, Zeki Levent Gumrukcu

On March 4, 2016 the Chairperson of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice, Nino Gvenetadze met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia His Excellency, Zeki Levent Gumrukcu.

Nino Gvenetadze talked with ambassador concerning the challenges, visions and priorities existing in judiciary. The chairperson reviewed, in general, the legislative amendments considered within the scope of the third wave judical reform, aimed at institutional independence of judiciary and establishment of high standards of protection of individual judges.

His Excellency, Zeki Levent Gumrukcu thanked the Chairperson of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice for reception and expressed readiness of mutual cooperation in legal projects.
