On December 21, 2015 the Chairperson of the Supreme Court and the High Council of Justice Nino Gvenetadze, in the hotel "Holiday Inn" is attending the public forum on the topic: "Challenges of the judiciary".

The Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia Ms. Nino Gvenetadze, The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Mr. David Usupashvili, The First Deputy Minister of Justice, Alexander Baramidze, Public Defender Mr. Ucha Nanuashvili, The United States Agency for International Development, Mission Director Mr. Douglas Ball addressed the forum participants with the welcoming speech.

Within the framework of the forum in the discussion mode the following issues will be presented: The high Council of Justice; problems of selection and appointment of judges; specialization of judges and distribution of cases in the Common Court of Georgia.

The Public forum on the topic: "Challenges of the judiciary” is organized by the “Coalition for an independent and transparent judiciary.
