Nino Gvenetadze took part in the sum up event dedicated to the project of European Union - “Support the Criminal Justice reform in Georgia”

On December 14, 2015 at the hotel "Courtyard Marriott" the sum up event dedicated to the European Union (EU) project - “Support the Criminal Justice reform in Georgia” was held.
The head of the project Mrs. Renate Winter introduced to the audience the report of implemented activities within the framework of the project.
The Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia and High Council of Justice Nino Gvenetadze, The Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani, Deputy Head of EU Delegation to Georgia, Mr. Carlo Natale, The Chief Prosecutor of Georgia Irakli Shotadze, representatives of Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance, Legal Aid Service and also representatives of the Georgian Bar Association attended the event.
"EU-funded projects were very important in terms of independence and impartiality of the judiciary", noted the Chairperson of the Supreme Court and High Council of Justice.
The “Human Dynamics” in duration of three years implemented the project - “Support of Criminal Justice reform to Georgia” that was financed by the European Delegation. The project was envisaged to provide assistance to judges, prosecutors, penitentiary and probation systems, private and public lawyers.
