Nino Gvenetadze met with US Ambassador

On November 25, 2015, The Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia and High Council of justice – Nino Gvenetadze met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States of America to Georgia Ian Kelly.

Nino Gvenetadze introduced to the Ambassador the significant legislative amendments planned in the framework of the third phase reform of judiciary.

The Chairperson of the Supreme Court noted the active support and a special contribution of the American people in the process of the reform of Georgian judiciary.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia for providing the information on the activities planned under the third phase of judiciary reform and stated that the US government will continue active support to all those important projects that will be directed towards the strengthening of the judiciary and the rule of law.
